Roger Mitchell ("Persuasion") will direct from a script written by "Four Weddings and a Funeral" scribe Richard Curtis. "Four Weddings" producer Duncan Kenworthy will produce under his and Curtis' production banner, Notting Hill Pictures.
Pic is being financed by Working Title Films and will be distributed by Polygram Films.
It is not a sequel to "Four Weddings," which was helmed by Mike Newell, but is a contemporary comedy in a similar vein. In the film, Grant will play an owner of a small travel bookstore whose world is turned upside down after Roberts' character, the biggest movie star in the world, walks into his store.Pic is scheduled to roll in England in April.
