Doeren new CEO at Gen'l Cinema
NEW YORK --- General Cinemas' exec VP and chief operating officer William Doeren was elevated to CEO Tuesday, replacing Paul Del Rossi, who becomes chairman of the exhib, General Cinemas' parent GC companies said.
Del Rossi will "direct the company's international expansion efforts and certain strategic partnerships," GC said. The partnerships include General Cinemas' joint venture with Sundance Group.
Del Rossi, 55, had been CEO since 1983.
