Jennifer Holt Chamberlain

Former actress Jennifer Holt Chamberlain, the daughter of silent screen and early talkie movie star Jack Holt and sister of former actor Tim Holt, died Sept. 21 of cancer at her home in Dorset, England. She was 76.

Chamberlain appeared in more than a dozen films between 1941-1948, playing leading lady to cowboy stars such as Johnny Mack Brown and Rod Cameron in low-budget Westerns.

Film credits included "San Francisco Docks," "Deep in the Heart of Texas," "Cowboy Buckaroo," "Cowboy in Manhattan" and "Range Renegades."

She is survived by her husband, Aylmer Hughes Chamberlain, a cousin, two nephews and a niece.

Services will be held Saturday in Markham, Va.

Family suggests donations be sent to a charity of the donor's choice.
