Eight pix rated R by MPAA

It was an R-rated week for the Classification & Rating Administration of the Motion Picture Assn. of America, which slapped the "under 17 requires accompanying parent or adult guardian" tag on all eight movies rated.

The following is a list of rated movies:

R

"Day of Atonement" (Trimark; "for some strong violence and language").

"Frauds" (Live Home Video; "for terror/violence").

"John Carpenter Presents Body Bags" (Republic Pictures Corp.; "for sexuality and horror violence").

"Kick and Fury" (Concorde Pictures; "for martial arts violence, sexuality, drug content and language").

"Killing Zoe" (Killing Zoe Prods.; "for strong violence and language, plentiful drug use and a sex scene").

"Malice" (Columbia Pictures; "for sexuality, language and some violence").

"Man's Best Friend" (New Line Cinema; "for terror and violence involving a household pet").

"Sexual Intent" (Suenos de Los Angeles; "for sexuality, language and violence").
