Most recently Korenbrot served as consultant to several theatrical companies and built several theaters in Florida.
He began his career as a projectionist in Panama in 1944. He later moved to Los Angeles, where he was an auditor to booking agencies. During the Korean War he trained as a cameraman and afterwards joined United Artists Theaters.
Korenbrot held various posts in Stanley Warner Theaters in Fresno, where he built and managed several theaters for the chain.
In 1972, he moved to Fort Lauderdale and joined Gulf State Theaters as city manager. From 1976 to 1987, he was district manager for Wometco's North Florida division.
Survived by his wife, two daughters, and a sister.
