Cable Act to cost TW

Time Warner Cable expects the Cable Act of 1992 to cost it $ 90 million-$ 100 million in annual sales.

The act takes effect Sept. 1.

The revenue reduction will be offset, TW said, by increased revenues in optional service, advertising sales, subscriber growth and other areas. Basic service subscribers can expect "a substantial decrease" in monthly bills.
