Antonio J. Romero has been named chief executive of NewLeaf Entertainment, the joint venture between Blockbuster Entertainment Corp. and IBM Corp. Romero, a 16-year veteran of IBM, most recently as general manager of domestic and international markets for South Florida operations, also will be a Blockbuster VP.

Michael Goldman has been appointed VP, business development and finance, of the Paramount Licensing Group. Neil G. Newman, previously director of marketing , was named to the newly created position of director of business development, evaluation Paramount Communications' properties and brand names for licensing into consumer markets.
