More/Medavoy Management elevates Okwu to talent mgr.

Francis Okwu was promoted Friday to the post of talent manager for More/Medavoy Management in West Hollywood.

Okwu becomes the third talent manager at the 2-year-old More/Medavoy shingle behind company toppers Erwin More and Brian Medavoy.

More said Okwu's appointment responds to the need to provide individual attention to the firm's growing client list.

In recent months, More/Medavoy has emerged as one of the most active talent management companies in Hollywood, casting such clients as Christopher Reeves in CBS' "The Black Fox," Olivia D'Abo opposite Michael J. Fox in Imagine's "Greed," Craig Sheffer in Miramax's "Roadflower," Jonathan Silverman in Castle Rock's "Little Big League," Cynthia Gibb opposite Bette Midler in CBS' "Gypsy" and Lysette Anthony in TriStar's "Look Who's Talking III."

An MFA graduate of the film and television program at Emerson College, Okwu previously worked as assistant to talent-agent-turned-producer Chris Moore at the now-defunct InterTalent Agency. He was an assistant at More/Medavoy over the last year.
