Andrea Miller has beenpromoted from senior director to vice president of international sales for 21st Century Film Corp. She'll focus on bolstering the company's network of distributors and developing new alliances.

Loews Theatres has hired Dorian Brown as senior veep of corporate development , giving the former Showtime Satellite Networks Inc. executive charge over strategic planning, special projects, human resources and administration.

Michael Wyner and Tom Pergola have joined to form a new independent record label, Umbrella Records, with initial signings in pop, dance and R&B. Wyner is a former retail chain buyer and label consultant; Pergola has been an artist manager and producer. Umbrella will be based in Los Angeles.
