Bosley upped to production VP
A former story editor at Guber Peters Entertainment Co., Bosley currently supervises the Shirley MacLaine/Nicolas Cage starrer "Guarding Tess" and the Chevy Chase/Jack Palance/Dianne Wiest comedy "Cops and Robbersons."
Both "Guarding Tess" and "Cops and Robbersons" are produced by Ned Tanen and Nancy Graham Tanen's Channel Prods. Bosley's other key relationships at the studio are children's illustrator Maurice Sendak's Wild Thing Productions and Jonathan Demme and Edward Saxon's Clinica Estetico.
Bosley, who started in the biz as an assistant to Creative Artists Agency agent Jay Moloney, is also spearheading a number of developing movies on the cusp of getting the go from TriStar. The list includes director Mike Newell's "Old Friends," the Amblin Prod. project "Zorro," a movie adaptation of Dean Koontz's "Hideaway" and Anita Shreve's "Where or When" for Barbra Streisand.
Announcement of Bosley's promotion was made by TriStar president of production Stacey Lassally, who previously worked with Bosley at Guber Peters Entertainment Co.
