Sandy K. Nelson

Sandy K. Nelson, script supervisor and member of IA Local 871, died May 23 in Burbank following a two-year battle with cancer.

She was 53.

Nelson, who served as a script supervisor since 1960, worked on features and numerous television shows. Credits included "Happy Days,""Crazy Like a Fox, ""Dear John" and "Anything but Love."

She is survived by two brothers, producer James Nelson and director Gary Nelson; two nieces, two nephews, one great-niece and four great-nephews. Her longtime friend is Darlis Chefalo, a makeup artist and hair stylist.

Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Church of the Hills, Forest Lawn, Hollywood Hills.
