A record 8,000 prints of the Academy Awards theatrical trailer, containing film clips of all nominees in the actor, actress and picture categories, are being shipped to movie theaters around the country this week.
The one-minute trailer was produced for the Academy by trailer producer Jon Bloom of Bloomfilm.
Eastman Kodak, Deluxe Laboratories and Technicolor Inc. contributed substantially to the trailer's production by donating film stock and processing services, respectively.
