Chrisanthopoulos leaves NTA for ABC

Peter Chrisanthopoulos is ankling his position at the Network Television Assn., the trade org designed to promote network TV, to assume the newly created post of executive VP, research, marketing and promotion at ABC.

In the new position, Chrisanthopoulos will have responsibility for planning, developing and analysis of all viewer, program, social, market and technical research.

The research duties to be handled by Chrisanthopoulos were formerly held by Alan Wurtzel who recently shifted to the news division where he is senior VP for magazine and long form programming.

According to Chrisanthopoulos, the executive committee of the NTA will immediately start searching for his replacement.
