Turner Pictures Worldwide has named Midge Barnett vice president of international sales. She will be based in Los Angeles and will report directly to Robert Lazarus, VP/general manager for TPW.
In her new post, Barnett will oversee international theatrical and homevideo sales of Turner Pictures product in territories including Western Europe and the Far East.
Before joining TPW, Barnett was VP international for two years at Fries Distribution Co. She held a similar post at Skouras Pictures Inc. from 1989-91.
TPW also has promoted Gino Natalicchio and Adam Wright to managers of international distribution. Natalicchio will supervise theatrical and homevideo sales in Spain, Portugal, Mexico, Central and South America and Africa. Wright will be responsible for generating theatrical and homevideo sales in Eastern Europe as well as the Middle East and Southeast Asia.
TPW is the international theatrical and video distribution division of Turner Broadcasting System.
