Exec Shuffle

Kenneth Coyte was named chairman and retains his CEO position at Worldwide Television News, a broadcast services company that is 80%-owned by CapCities/ABC. As chairman he succeeds Richard Wald, who moved up to the parent as senior VP at ABC News.

Robert Burke assumes the newly created position of president-chief operating officer at WTN.

BET has upped Cheryl L. Holmes to VP, direct response advertising and research, and Deborah C. Tang to veepee, news and public affairs.

Brian Kandler has been promoted to VP, acquisitions and business affairs, at Academy Entertainment, while Susan Luksik has been upped to executive director and will move to Gotham to head the company's East Coast operations. In addition , David Bryant has come aboard as director of operations.

Cecelia Holloway has been upped to senior veep of human resources and administration at the Viacom Entertainment Group, where she will oversee administration of all human resources policies and programs and develop training for the company. She also will be responsible for facilities administration of Viacom's East Coast, West Coast, regional and international offices.
