Veteran publicist Henry Ehrlich has been nominated to be president of the Publicists Guild of America. Henri Bollinger, who served two five-year terms, has chosen not to run again.
Among the other nominations announced this week during the Guild's quarterly membership meeting were: Helen Rhodes for first vice president; Vicki Arthur and Dan Doran for Western veepee; incumbent Ted Albert for Eastern veep; Margie Matteson and Pattie McTeague for treasurer; Frank Annino, Thomas N. Casteneda, Jesse M. Garcia and Fran Zell for one trustee post; and Ellen Shenker-McNeely of CBS-TV for a trustee post representing the television unit.
Ehrlich, Rhodes, Albert and Shenker-McNeely are running unopposed and will be automatically elected. All other posts will be decided via mail ballots.
New officers will take office at the Guild's general membership meeting in May.
