Former CEMA Distribution president Dennis White is among the partners of newly formed independent record label Skydoor Records, unveiled yesterday.
White will head sales for the West Hollywood-based Skydoor, which includes partners Chris Johnson, the label's producer and engineer; Lynda Kay, head of marketing; and Jeff Benice, an attorney.
Initial releases for Skydoor include albums by the Chance (set for April 13) and Slamhound (slated for late spring/early summer). Also on the roster is Black Tegu, a rock band with Latin influences.
