'Death' near $ 53 million overseas

Universal's "Death Becomes Her" has racked up $ 52,692,536 in its release in foreign markets.

The leading markets for the film are Japan, where after 37 days in release the film has grossed $ 10.9 million; the United Kingdom, where it has pulled $ 7 .2 million in 38 days; Germany, taking $ 7.7 million in 25 days; France, with $ 5.3 million after 19 days; Spain, with $ 3 million after 31 days; and Australia, where it has grossed $ 2.3 million after 45 days.
