Hollywood picked as theme for video software confab
Grazer/Howard Prods. toppers Ron Howard and Brian Grazer will play key roles at the convention.
Howard will serve as celebrity chairperson and speak at the July 12 general business session. Grazer will be keynote speaker at that session.
Other celebrity speakers, panelists and award recipients are still being confirmed, according to Dawn Wiener, VSDA convention committee chairperson. Exhibitor forms will be mailed to suppliers by midmonth and VSDA members will receive registration applications in February.
"Our goal is to once again present useful information to our members in a setting that reflects our business, which is entertainment," said Don Rosenberg, VSDA executive VP. "By combining the business sense of last year's convention with a more show business-like atmosphere this year, we are looking forward to a great convention."
